Open Innovation Award 2026: Scaling of the Year
Our joint solution with Bosch Mobility won at IAA Transportation.

Vehicles produce an enormous amount of data. Turning that data into services someone actually uses is the hard part, and it is where most connected vehicle programmes stall. The pipeline works, the dashboards look fine, and then nothing reaches the workshop, the dealer or the driver.
That is the gap the joint solution closes, and it is why the award landed in the Scaling of the Year category rather than in one for prototypes.
What we built together
Bosch brings the Automotive connectivity hub and its Vehicle connectivity services: the in-vehicle side, the connectivity, the ingestion. c.technology brings the interfaces on top. The OEM Suite, where the manufacturer runs the whole thing top-down. White-labelled access for every actor in the ecosystem, workshops and service partners first. And the driver app, out of the box, under the manufacturer's own name.
One side gets the data off the vehicle. The other side puts it in front of everyone who has to act on it. Neither half is much use alone, which is the whole point of an open innovation award.
Why it shortens time to market
A manufacturer starting from zero has to solve connectivity, ingestion, a permission model, service workflows and the apps on top before a single connected service goes live. That is years of work in a domain that is not the manufacturer's own.
With the combined stack, those layers exist and are already integrated with each other. The manufacturer configures instead of building. Raw telemetry arrives as operational workflows, new service revenue and a better experience for the customer who bought the vehicle.
What a manufacturer gets
- Telemetry that arrives as maintenance, diagnostics and support workflows, not as a data lake someone still has to interpret.
- Dedicated access for every actor in the ecosystem: workshops, service partners, dealers, importers, fleet managers. White-labelled, distributed under the manufacturer's own brand.
- A driver app out of the box. The manufacturer builds nothing.
- Service revenue on top of vehicles that are already sold and already on the road.
- Clean, permissioned, structured vehicle data. That is the foundation anything AI-driven needs, and it has to be in place first.
Thank you
To the teams at Bosch Mobility and here at c.technology who put this together, and to prototype.club for the award. We are looking forward to continuing this one.
