Strong growth for c.technology

With the vision to unlock the potential of vehicle data in the powersports vehicles, c.technology is a SaaS startup offering a full range of cloud and in-vehicle services. The company’s strong growth is marked by its growing revenues, 220% ARR in 2023 along, and customer base in the DACH region.

Founded in 2020 and based in Zurich, c.technology provides original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with a full range of cloud and in-vehicle services, including data processing and powerful APIs. Their platform enables the transformation of vehicle data into scalable services for OEMs, their partners, and end customers. The company offers a completely integrated platform for real-time vehicle data intelligence, including services such as Vehicle usage analytics, predictive maintenance, remote assistance provision and the ability to sell customised products based on real-time vehicle usage data. They also provide a white-label mobile app that OEMs can customise for their customers allowing them to access insights, control vehicles, and interact with the ecosystem.

With his team of employees, most of whom have a degree from ETH Zurich, c.technology has a growing track record with a growing number of customers, mainly in the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland and Austria). In 2023 alone, the company acquired six OEMs, including, Torqeedo, the global leader for electric mobility on the water, which was recently acquired by Yamaha Motor Co.. Furthermore, the startup partnered with Frauscher, a renowned leader in handcrafted boats that will provide its customers (Frauscher boat owners) with a dedicated app to access a wide range of data, in the motorcycle sector, the company works among others with companies such as Novus and GOVECS. All in all, c.technology has so far equipped and connected several ten thousand powersports vehicles to the cloud. Thanks to this continued trust from customers, the startup has achieved a 220% ARR growth in the past year.

At the end of last year, c.technology closed an undisclosed funding round: Multiple investors participated in the round, including existing shareholders and new strategic investors – Nico Paraskevas, a former senior executive at London Stock Exchange listed mining conglomerate Glencore. The funds are enabling the startup to enhance our technological capabilities further, expand our market reach, and pursue groundbreaking initiatives that align with our vision for the future.
